Microblading eyebrows is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance the appearance of the eyebrows. In this technique, a small handheld tool with tiny needles is used to create small, hair-like strokes that simulate the natural growth of eyebrow hair. The tool is dipped into pigment and then drawn across the skin to create the desired shape and style of the eyebrows. The pigment is deposited into the upper layers of the skin and can last up to 1-3 years depending on skin type, after which a touch-up is required. Microblading eyebrows can create a realistic and natural-looking result for those who have sparse or patchy eyebrows, or those who want to enhance the shape and fullness of their eyebrows.
Combination brows refer to a hybrid technique of tattooing that combines both microblading and shading. In this technique, microblading is used to create hair-like strokes in the front of the brow to mimic natural hair growth while shading is used to achieve a more defined and filled-in look towards the tail of the brow. Combination brows provide a realistic and natural-looking result with added depth and dimension to the brows.
Ombre powder eyebrows, also known as powdered brows or shading, is a semi-permanent makeup technique that creates a soft, gradient look on the eyebrows. In this technique, a small hand-held machine is used to create small dots of pigment that are applied to the skin using a stippling motion. The dots are concentrated towards the tail of the eyebrow with a gradual fading towards the front. This technique can be customized to create various levels of depth to the eyebrows, from a soft and subtle look to a more defined and bold look. The powdered effect creates a more solid fill, unlike microblading which creates individual hair strokes. Ombre powder eyebrows are ideal for those with oily skin as it does not fade and smudge like traditional eyebrow makeup. The results can last up to 2-3 years depending on skin type, after which a touch-up is required.
