Henna brows are super popular and that does not surprise us. You get very sharp eyebrows with this special eyebrow dye. Because not only the hairs will be dyed, but also the skin. The shade will be on the hairs for 4 to 5 weeks, and on the skin for 5 to 14 days. So you do not have to use any brow makeup during this time.
Mrs.Highbrow has a suitable shade for every brow and every skin color. Our assortment ranges from light and ash blond, to warm and dark brown. And even to almost black with the latest shade Raven from Dyotics. No matter how light the colour used, the result is always quite intense. So if you prefer a natural result or have very light eyebrows, then perhaps it is better to choose regular dye.
Not sure about the what kind of brow dye you want? No problem! Book one of the tint treatments we have and discuss with the specialist during the pre-session which treatment suits you best.
It is important that you do not clean your brows the night after the treatment. In any case, it is best to use as little water as possible. Oil-based skin care and scrubs and peelings also make the colour fade.
You MUST have a skin test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment at our beauty room in Northampton and your treatment will not go ahead unless you have. You will fill in a client card consultation form so we can keep a record of your treatment. Please make sure you have not had any tint or henna in the last 4 weeks.
To begin we will match you with the most suited colour, we have variety of colours to choose from. We will start by cleansing the brows and tidy the brows with wax or tweezers (whichever you prefer) We then sometimes map the brow for the perfect symmetry and then apply the henna. We leave the henna on for 15-20 minutes then remove. You may have slight redness from the wax/tweezing but this will settle few hours after. Henna brows are £25 and includes a wax/tweeze which ever you prefer.
Please avoid scrubbing the eyebrows as this will remove the Henna quicker. Do not get the brows wet for at least 24 hours. Avoid getting the brows tinted or henna again for at least 6 weeks. You can apply makeup after your appointment just be mindful when removing the makeup around your brows. Henna will last up to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 4-6 weeks on the hairs making it more effective than tint, especially for those with less brow hairs.
